| Trihalomethanes |
Trihalomethanes (THMs) are a by-product of Chlorination.
Trihalomethanes are a group of toxic carcinogens created when Chlorine reacts with organic matter in water. When this matter decays, Trihalomethanes are formed. THMs include chemicals such as chloroform, bromoform and dichlorobromethane.
