Carbon filters - How long do they last? The life of the filter is approx 2600 litres and we recommend that the replacement water filter cartridge is replenished with a new refill at least every six months. Sometimes the life of the filter can be shortened if the local authority has a scare and has to dose the system with a high concentration of chlorine. The Carbon filter cannot be cleaned. |
