Existing Ontap customers who wish to upgrade their system from System 1 to System 2 filters, can purchase the Upgrade kit below.
Our easily changed water filters will only need to be replaced twice a year and we will remind you before they are due for renewal. When our drinking water filters need replacing, only the inner refills are discarded as the outer housing is reusable, which helps to reduce waste in the environment.
Fitting the filter is easy and can be done in just a few minutes. An instruction sheet is included and the details can also be found on our installation page..

Ontap use two types of filter cartridge:
GAC Carbon Block Water Filter
This filter offers maximum absorption of Chlorine and other chemicals due to the large surface area that is approximately 14 times greater than the normal granular GAC water filters and not subject to channelling which is a common cause of failure for regular GAC filters. After removing these chemicals, your water is left clear and fresh and a pleasure to drink.
The filter has a nominal 3 micron rating and can remove more than 99% of free Chlorine plus Herbicides, Pesticides, Oestrogen Hormones, Organic Chemicals, Trihalomethanes, Benzene, Aluminium, Lead, Perfluoro-octyl Sulfonates (PFOS), Turbidity: Discolouration, Sand, Silt, Rust and other particulates and chemicals found in your drinking water, leaving it crystal clear and fresh.
Ceramic Water Filter
This filter works as a water purifier to remove harmful pathogenic organisms such as Bacteria and Protozoan Cysts that can cause severe diarrhoea and sickness and endanger the lives of the young, the old, the frail and the immuno-compromised.
The filter has an absolute pore rating of less than 1 micron and can remove over 99.99% of Salmonella, E.Col, Streptococcus, Faecal Coliform (and other bacteria) plus Cryptosporidium and Giardia Lamblia (and other forms of Protozoan Cyst) from your water leaving it safe to drink.
