System 1: Chlorine Water Filters

This Fresh Water filtration system uses a GAC Carbon Block Water Filter. The filter offers maximum absorption of Chlorine due to the large surface area - approx 14 times greater than the normal granular GAC water filters.

The filter has a nominal 3 micron rating and can remove more than 99% of free Chlorine plus Herbicides, Pesticides, Trihalomethanes, Benzene, Aluminium, Lead, Oestrogen Hormones, Perfluoro-octyl Sulfonates (PFOS), Organic Chemicals, Turbidity: Discolouration, Sand, Silt, Rust and other particulates and chemicals found in your drinking water, leaving it crystal clear and fresh - like bottled water.

A 12.5 " / 31.5mm minimum height is required to fit this unit vertically however the filter housing can be mounted at any angle which is helpful if you have a confined space to work in.

The life of the filter is approx 2600 litres and we recommend the filter cartridge is replenished with a new refill every six months. See Water Filter Refills page

All carbon filter systems are WRAS approved and should only be used on a standard municipal water supply.

System 2: Chlorine Water Filter + Bacteria & Cyst Filter

This System uses two water filters - a fine Ceramic filter works as a water purifier to remove harmful pathogenic organisms such as Bacteria and Cysts, and a Carbon Block filter to remove Chemicals and Particulates that effect the Taste, Odour, Clarity and Safety of your water.

The Ceramic filter has a pore rating of less than 1 micron & removes:

- more than 99.999%
- more than 99.999%
- more than 99.99%

of Giardia and Cryptosporidium (and other Protozoan Cysts)
of Salmonella and Streptococcus (and other Bacteria)
of E.Coli, Fecal Coliform (and other Bacteria)

The Ceramic filter can be rinsed or scrubbed (very carefully, with water and a clean brush) up to 10 times between changes, for areas with particularly turbid water. We recommend the filter cartridge is replenished with a new refill every six months. See Water Filter Refills page

A 31.5mm /12.5 " minimum vertical height is required to fit this unit however the filter unit can be mounted at any angle which is helpful if you have a confined space to work in.
